Instructions for Downloading MP3 Files
It is important that you read these instructions before purchasing MP3s from The Pearl.
After the completion of your payment with PayPal, you will be given a link for downloading your purchase. This link will allow you to download your purchase as an Entire CD file or as separate files of 6-minute segments (all in ZIP format). Please be sure to save the download page link address for your download in case you need to stop or pause your download. For slower internet connections, it is recommended that you download your purchase in segments.
Download times will vary depending upon many factors that may affect the speed of the download, but the following guidelines may be useful:

| Individual MP3 6-minute segments | 20 minutes | 2 minutes | 40 seconds |
It is not recommended that you download Entire CD of MP3 files
if you are a dialup internet user. You may
alternately purchase the MP3 on CD at slightly higher
cost which will be mailed to your address.
After you have downloaded your file, it must be extracted (Un-ZIPPED). If your computer does not automatically extract these files, you may download the free Un-ZIP utility at:
Once your MP3 is extracted, you may listen to your purchased MP3 with any program or CD player that supports the MP3 format. Below is a sampling of free MP3 players:
IPOD Users
You may play your MP3 on your IPod by downloading iTunes

Transfer the MP3 file(s) to your iPod by connecting your iPod to your computer.
Open the iTunes program and locate the folder with the MP3 files on your computer. Drag the files onto the right side area of iTunes. Synchronize your files by first locating the "Devices" tab on the left side menu of iTunes. Click on this tab, and select your iPod when it appears. Check the option "sync music" and the playlist where your new files were saved. Click "Sync" button to finalize this process.
